Bosera Asset Management has officially joined the United Nations Responsible Investment Principles Organization (UN PRI)
作者: Bosera 日期: 15/11/2018
The concept of the UN PRI was first proposed by UN PRI former General Manager Kofi Annan in 2006 and is an investor initiative negotiated and collaborated with the UN EP Finance Initiative and the UN Global Compact. The principle is designed to understand the impact of ESG issues on investment and to support contracting agencies putting these issues into the investment and ownership decision-making process, making investment activities harmonious. As of the end of 2017, more than 1,750 institutions from over 50 countries worldwide have signed this principle, and the total assets represented by the contracted agencies exceed USD 89 trillion.
Becoming a UN PRI signatory is an important and meaningful milestone for Bosera. As one of the oldest and largest investment managers in China, Bosera is committed to responsible investment and incorporating ESG issues into our investment process and analysis. More importantly, as one of the few Chinese investment managers pledged to the PRI initiative, we hope to play a meaningful role in driving ESG standards within China in the long run.
